Covid-19 Health & Safety

Your health and safety is our number one priority as we all transition back into enjoying each other’s company. Our staff has been working diligently to make the farm a safe place for all of our visitors.

Important Guidelines


So our guests can fully enjoy their experience at Southern Exposure, we are implementing the protocols listed below.


Health and Safety Protocols:

For Guests

Facial masks are to be worn inside buildings and canopies but are not required while walking around the grounds or while dining. Guests will adhere to recommended social distancing guidelines as indicated by signage around the farm.


For Southern Exposure Staff

Staff will be wearing masks and gloves at all times during food preparation and service, as well as when interacting with customers. Southern Exposure staff will have training on COVID-19 protocols and will adhere to those protocols.

Cleaning Protocols: Hand sanitizer stations will be located around each building/canopy throughout the farm at main entry points Cleaning of high contact surfaces throughout the farm will happen regularly and frequently. High contact surfaces in kitchens will be cleaned frequently during service and thorough cleanings will occur nightly. Restrooms will be cleaned/disinfected daily. During longer events, high contact surfaces will be disinfected hourly. Credit Card payment devices will be wiped down between each use.


Social Distancing Protocols: Guests and staff will practice CDC-recommended social distancing guidelines of staying 6 feet apart. Guests will follow signage posted throughout the farm to help maintain safe distances. Gift shop will be open during normal business hours with a maximum capacity of 5 guests at a time. Workshop dining will take place in the wedding canopy where tables are 6 feet apart. 4 guests will be seated per table (up to a maximum of 6 if guests are in the same party; groups over 6 guests will be split into separate tables). Workshop crafts will also adhere to social distancing guidelines by following similar protocols to workshop dining.


IMPORTANT: Please do not visit Southern Exposure if you have a fever; if you are feeling ill; if you have recently traveled outside of the U.S.; or if have had contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19. Stay home, get well, and we’ll be eagerly waiting to see you when the time is right!
